Obituary of Mary-Lebronmary-Lebron-Ramos Ramos

RAMOS, Mary "Coqui" LebronMary "Coqui" Lebron Ramos, age 77, of Palm Beach Gardens, FL went to her heavenly home with Jesus on September 12, 2013 after a courageous battle with cancer. Mary is the daughter of Joaquina Ayala and Justo Rodriguez and was born in Guayama, Puerto Rico and raised in Puerto Rico and New York. She moved to Palm Beach Gardens, FL with her husband and son in 1969. Mary earned her GED at the age of 55 and graduated from Palm Beach Gardens Community High School. Mary was a bookkeeper for John D. MacArthur through the early 1970's after which she became disabled and turned 100% of her time and energy toward her husband and children. Mary loved to cook and was known for using her cooking skills to help in the church kitchen at First Church of God, but had a heart to serve wherever needed. Many lives were enriched and ministered to at her dining room table, where everyone felt "at home". Above all, she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. A loving devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. Mary is survived by her beloved husband of 53 years, Miguel; her children, Ronald Ramos and future daughter-in-law, Cathy Vazquez, Linda Pelletier and her husband, Mark; her step-children, Miguel Ramos, Jr. and his wife, Elba, Josie Matos and her husband, Bob; her grandchildren, Matthew Ramos, Hope Pelletier and Ryan Pelletier; her sisters, Lillian Ortiz and Elaine Hicks and her brother, Jose Juan Rodriguez and many cherished nieces and nephews. Mary lived each day of her life with a passionate will and desire to show love to those around her. Her love for Christ was exemplified until her last hours. A homecoming service will be held Saturday, September 21 at 1:30 PM at Christ Fellowship South Campus, 5312 Northlake Blvd., Palm Beach Gardens, immediately followed by a reception in the church dining room.
