Obituary of Mary Hastings

Hastings, Mary (Nee Lee), passed away on June 3, 2008. Mary was born on December 5, 1904 in County Monaghan, Ireland and immigrated to the United States in 1926, settling in New York City. She and her husband John retired to Tamarac in 1973 where he passed away in 1974. They were founding members of St. Malachy Catholic Church where Mary devoted much time and service to her parish family. She is survived by many nieces and nephews here and in Ireland. Special thanks to Fr. Dominick O'Dwyer for the devotion and kindness he showed her these many years. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Thursday, June 5, 11:00 a.m. at St. Malachy Catholic Church. Interment will be in NY.
