Obituary of Mary Flood

Mary E. Age 90 of St. Mark's Terrace-Dundee, NY died Sat. April 13, 2002 at the Arnot-Ogden Medical Center in Elmira, NY. Friends may call at the Baird Funeral Home, Dundee, NY on Tues. from 12 noon to 2 pm and 6 to 8 pm. Her funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Wed. at 11 am with the Rev. Irene Nowak, officiating. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Dundee Fire Dept. and Emergency Squad or a charity of one's choice. Mary was born March 10, 1912 in Barton, NY and was the daughter of Ward and Nina Manley Bruster. She was a retired bookkeeper with Agway Feed in Dundee, where she worked for many years. Mary was also a member of the Elmira Order of the Eastern Star, the Starkey United Methodist Church and a life member of the Dundee American Legion Aux. She was predeceased by her husband Harold C. Flood, granddaughter, Stephanie Lynn Pierce and her sister, Bernice Cronk. Mary is survived by her daughter, Mary A. Peach Pierce of Dundee, her son, John F. (Jennifer) Flood of Durham, NC, brother, Henry (Myrtle) Bruster of Newark Valley, NY; 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
