Obituary of Mary Elizabeth Sweet

Mary (Betty) Elizabeth Sutton (Sweet) August 21, 1924 ~ September 8, 2015 (age 91) Betty (Sweet) Sutton on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born August 21, 1924 she was the wife of the late Wesley R. Sutton and the daughter of the late Roland K and Mary J. Sweet. Born and raised in Saint John West until just a few years ago, she moved to Quispamsis with her only son Terry. Betty was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother all of whom she adored and so proud of each one. Betty is survived by her son Terry (Karen); grandchildren Tony (Linda), Tanya (Norman), Alice Lynn (Michael) and Danny (Melda); five great grandchildren Angus, Nathan, Matthew, Brandon and Alexis, also a special niece Sharron A. Boone. Predeceased by her parents, husband, son Lance E. and infant daughter Wanda Gayle and brother Leslie K. Sweet. By Betty’s request there will be no visitation or funeral service, after cremation a private interment in the family plot at Greenwood Cemetery.
