Obituary of Mary-Elizabeth McCoy

She retired from American Spinning after 42 years of service.She is survived by daughter, Bertha McCoy Owings; son, Charles Brown (Mary); four grandchildren, Dani Boling, J.R. Owings, Jennifer Powers and David Brown; three great-granchildren, Tyler, Tristan and Emma; and many nieces and nephews.In addition to ther loving husband of 50 years, she was predeceased by two sisters and a brother.Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 5, 2013, at 12:00 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest with visitation prior from 10:30 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. Burial to follow at Forestville Baptist Church Cemetery.Memorials may be made to Meals on Wheels, 15 Oregon Street, Greenville, SC 29605.The family wishes to give special thanks to McCall Hospice House, and especially Suzy Cothran and Chaplain Boozer for their wonderful care.
