Obituary of Mary-Elizabeth Hudson

HUDSON, Mary Elizabeth "Aunt Libby"Age 92, passed away Monday evening, at McKendree Village Health Care after a long illness. She was (is) preceded in death by her parents, James O. Hudson and Corrie Peek Hudson; and her four siblings. Ms. Hudson was a member of Inglewood Baptist Church and the Friendship Sunday School Class. Her life's mission was her love and devotion to her family, and her unselfish giving, and service to others. She is survived by three generations of nieces and nephews who will miss her kindness, generosity, and "Aunt Libby" attitude. Those nieces and nephews will also serve as both Jonorary and Active Pallbearers. Visitation will be on Friday, January 30, 2009 at Spring Hill Funeral Home, from 1 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Services will be on Saturday, January 31, 2009 at 11 a.m., in the Chapel at Spring Hill Funeral Home.
