Obituary of Martha-Rueff Edwards

<!-- DisplayFullObituaryText -->Edwards, Martha "Marty" Rueff,passed away on Friday, August 29, 2014.She was a volunteer at St. Joseph Children's Home. She was a member of Little Sisters of the Poor, Sacred Heart Village, Queen's Daughters, Bellarmine Women's Council, and belonged to Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church and served in their Altar Society and Pep Club. She was honored to receive the Good Neighbor Award in 1993 for her volunteer work.She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Donald J. Edwards; brothers, Andrew, Charles, Kenneth and Richard Rueff; and sister, Mary Ann Crume.Marty is survived by her sister-in-law, Peggy Rueff; and many nieces and nephews, including Sister Diane M. Crume R.S.M., who took care of her.Her memorial Mass will be celebrated at noon, Friday, September 5, 2014 at Our Lady of Lourdes, 508 Breckenridge Lane, with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery. Highlands Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements. Expressions of sympathy may be made to mass of the Air, St. Joseph Children's Home, Little Sisters of the Poor, or Sacred Heart Home.
