Obituary of Marie-Esther McClure

Marie Esther 78, of Lake Helen, FL and formerly of Mifflinburg, PA and Troy, PA, passed away on Saturday, March 10, 2007, at the Fish Memorial Hospital in Orange City, FL. Born on September 11, 1928 in Ralston, PA, she was a daughter of the late Earl and Mae (Dunbar) Teribury. Marie was a graduate of Troy High School. She worked for 13 years at the Brunswick Company's Defense Division in Deland, FL, and also with their Research and Development department in Sorrento, FL. Marie was a loving wife and mother. She was a member of the Orange City United Methodist Church. Surviving are her husband of 60 years, Philip; a son, Philip (Gail) McClure Jr.; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Marilyn McClure (John Schultheis), Susan (Russell) Troup and Julie McClure; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; three sisters, Phyllis (Harold) Foster, Janice (Richmond) Young and Shirley Brown; two sisters-in-law, Betty Teribury and Jane (Bruce) Bresee; two brothers-in-law, Clifton (Dorcus) Welch and Paul (Jeanette) McClure; two aunts and an uncle, Nina Vroman, Betty Dunbar and Pete Goodrich. A graveside service honoring Marie's life will be held for family and friends at Glenwood Cemetery in Troy at 11 a.m. March 22, 2007. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to a charity of one's choice. Assisting the family with arrangements is Pepper Funeral Home, Canton.
