Obituary of Marie Dewey

DEWEY, Marie Rose (née Zaleski)April 11,1930 - December 1, 2013There are things that we don't want to happen but have to accept, things we don't want to know but have to learn and people we can't live without but have to let go. On Dec.1st, 2013, Marie , our beloved mother, quietly transcended from this world surrounded by our love. Mom touched the lives of many with her kind spirit. Her arms were always loving and wide. Family was the centre of her heart. Mom was artistic, loved music and flowers, and always enjoyed a good joke. We are so blessed that she was ours. She was predeceased by her husband, Les, her soul-mate for 54 yrs., in 2009. She is survived by her daughters Starlyn (Doug), Sarena (Mike), grandchildren Kevin(Gemma), Matthew, Danny, Brian, Mike, Jeffrey, Nicole, great-grandson Cody, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 14,2013 at 12 noon at Ocean View Funeral Home, 4000 Imperial St., Burnaby. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the B.C. Kidney Foundation.l
