Obituary of Marie-C. Morelli

Morelli, Marie C. COLONIE Marie C. Almendo Morelli, age 84, entered into eternal life Tuesday, July 22, 2008. Born in Albany, she was employed by Tobin Packing Co. in West Albany for 27 years, retiring as secretary. She was a communicant of the Church of St. Francis de Sales in West Albany; as well as a member and supporter of many religious organizations. Marie enjoyed cooking, crocheting, gardening and canning, as well as her family and friends. Daughter of the late James and Rose Del Petro Almendo. Beloved wife of Anthony (Tony) W. Morelli; loving mother of Theresa R. Morelli; sister of the late Michael X. Almendo, Lucy Jodoin and Angeline Kurtzner; sister-in-law to Robert Kurtzner, Arthur Jodoin and Ann Smith. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grand-nephews, great-grandnieces, great-grandnephews; and cousins. Funeral services will be held in the Lasak & Gigliotti Funeral Home, 8 Dudley Heights (Northern Blvd), Albany, Friday morning at 8:15 and 9 o'clock at the Church of St. Francis de Sales, 1 Maria Drive, Loudonville. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may also call at the funeral home Thursday 4 to 7 p.m. Interment will be in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Colonie.
