Obituary of Margaret-Ellen Barnes

BARNES, Margaret Ellen Age 83, of LaVergne, went home October 9, 2010. She is preceded in death by her husband, Leamon Marvin Barnes; parents, Ira M. and Robbie F. Golliher; infant son, Ronnie Lee Barnes; siblings, Richard Golliher, Herman Golliher, Cecil Golliher and Patsy Edwards. Survived by: daughter, Jan and son-in-law, Melvin Robinson; grandchildren, Jenny Ann Robinson and Kevin Lee Robinson, all of LaVergne; brother, Jerry (Susan) Golliher of Harriman, TN and sister, Wanda (Gary) Barber of Warner Robins, GA; 6 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Barnes was a homemaker and enjoyed camping, square dancing and spending time with her family and friends. She was also a member of Paragon Mills Church of Christ in Nashville. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, October 12, 2010 in Woodlawn's Dignity Hall. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will be 5-8 p.m. Monday at
