Obituary of M. -Shirley Allen

DEMPSEY, M. Shirley M. Shirley Dempsey of Lethbridge, passed away at the Extendicare on January 21, 2009 at the age of 78 years. She is survived by her four children; Barry Dempsey of Calgary, Rick Dempsey (Cindy) of Lethbridge, Sandra Dempsey-Koch (Aron) of Sundre, Melony Materi (Lawrence) of Lipton; six grandchildren, Jodie Simes (Aaron) of Fort Qu'Appelle, Lindsey Nelson of Fort Qu'Appelle, Catherine Furukawa (Matt) of Coalhurst, James Dempsey of Lethbridge, Jillian Dempsey of Lethbridge, Codee Koch of Sundre; two great-grandchildren, Austin and Alex Simes of Fort Qu'Appelle. She is also survived by Wes Dempsey of Calgary; two sisters, Marlene McDougall of Regina and Heather Hackett (Richard) of Brant. She was predeceased by her infant daughter Gail Dempsey, parents Fred and Wynne Allen as well as grandchild Scott Dempsey.
