Obituary of Lucy-Mae Lee

TUSCALOOSA Lucy Mae Lee, age 81, of Tuscaloosa, died Feb. 1, 2010, at Pickens County Medical Center. Services will be 1 p.m. today, Feb. 3, 2010, at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Barrentine officiating. Burial will follow in Garden Cemetery in Aliceville with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.Her parents, her stepson, Douglas Lee, her sisters, Mary, Nannie, and Bessie, her brothers, Luther, Millard, William, Glover, and Roy, preceded her in death.Survivors include her husband, William Carroll Lee; daughter, Diane Shadwrick (Joe); son, Jimmy Hicks (Faye); stepson Terry Lee (Teresa); step-daughter-in-law, Vickie Lee; sisters, Alice, Nona, and Gracie; brother, James; and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.Mr. Lee was born January 14, 1928, in Gordo, Alabama to the late Harvey Lewis and Lillie Gay Lewis. She was a member of the Baptist faith and a retired employee of Huyck Felt Company.
