Obituary of Lucy-M. Lee

Lucy Melton Lee, 84, of 100 Bob White Lane, died Saturday, Jan. 25, 2003, at Allen Bennett Hospital. A native of Greenville, she was a daughter of the late Joseph Baxter and Creole Moore Melton. Mrs. Lee was a homemaker, a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church and the Greenville Civic Chorale. Surviving are her husband, John H. Lee Sr.; son, John H. Lee Jr. of Greenville; daughter, Carol Alexander of Fortson, Ga.; sisters, Ruth Herndon and Lula Melton; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Westville Memorial Funeral Home with interment in Graceland Cemetery, East. Visitation: Tuesday from 12:30 p.m. until 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Tabernacle Childrens Home, 3931 White Horse Road, Greenville, SC 29611. Family are at their respective homes.
