Obituary of Lewis-Arthur Harrison

Funeral for Lewis Arthur Harrison, 92, of Athens will be today, Jan. 24, 2004, at 11 a.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Pat Smith officiating.Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be today from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Harrison died Thursday, Jan. 22, 2004, at Athens Limestone Hospital. He was born Oct. 5, 1911, in Limestone County. He was a member of Walnut Grove United Methodist Church. Mr. Harrison was preceded in death by a grandson, Barry Black. Survivors include his wife, Lois Harrison; one daughter, Arenita Black of Athens; and one granddaughter, Patsy Bartlett of Athens. Pallbearers will be Roger Elliott, Tom Ed Wright, Edward Hightower, Lansan Harrison, Marvin Todd and Joe Daly.Memorials may be made to Hospice of Limestone County.
