FREEMAN Laura Alice Craycraft, 87, of Fayette County, widow of Gilbert Craycraft, passed away Wed at the St. Joseph Hospital. A native of Irvine, she was born September 26, 1926, to the late Oscar and Nannie Hall Freeman. She was a member of the Rosemont Baptist Church. Laura Alice is survived by one daughter, Emily Smith of Lexington, brother, Bill (Ann) Freeman of Irvine, KY., sister, Eva (Edwin) Rose of Irvine, grandchildren, Laura (Jay) Richardson, Sarah Smith, Pamela Craycraft, and William (Shana) Craycraft, II, great-grandchildren, Tyler Moore, Leslie Pennington, April Burkeen, and Garrett Wayne Craycraft, great-great grandchild, Mikeal Jay Burkeen, and daughter-in-law, Vicki Craycraft of Lexington. She was preceded in death by one son, William W. Craycraft and four brothers, Wayne, Dave, Orville, and Delbert Freeman. Funeral services will be Monday at 11:30am at the Rolan G. Taylor Funeral Home, 289 S. Main St., with Rev Eddie Benton presiding. The family will receive friends on Sun from 3-6pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Winchester Cemetery. Pallbearers will be William W. Craycraft, II, Tyler Moore, Mark Craycraft, Ralph Craycraft, Charles Craycraft, and Jay Richardson. Honorary pallbearers will be Tolbert and Geneva Taylor, Judy Amyx, Sue Neal, Mary Craycraft, and Peggy Ash.
