Obituary of Kathleen Dawson

KENNAUGH, Kathleen Born March 8, 1923. Died July 11, 2007. It is with much sadness we announce the passing of Kathleen, beloved wife of the late Jack Kennaugh of Carseland. Born in Yorkshire, England, at six months of age, she came to Canada in the arms of her mother, Sophia and father, Walter Dawson. Kathleen married Jack in 1952, developed prairie roots in Carseland, and, over the years, enjoyed many friendships, especially with her good friend Clara Cote who passed away almost a month previously. Kathleen will be lovingly remembered by her niece, Donna and nephew, John (Karen), Nicole, Tanya and John Jr., and brother-in-law, Dan all in Langley where she made her home over the last few years, as well as her nieces and nephews, Joan (Chuck) and Marilyn (Keith) and Rob (Marilyn) and Ron (Inez) and their families. A Memorial Service (no cards or flowers by request) will be held in Strathmore, at the Lord of All Lutheran Church, 112 Lakeshore Boulevard on Wednesday, July 18 at 1:00 p.m. Published in the Calgary Herald from 7/14/2007 - 7/16/2007
