Obituary of Katherine-Annie Anderson

ANDERSON Katherine Annie (Kay) nee Kilby Kay was born in Vancouver B.C., on October 18, 1921. She passed away peacefully in her sleep in the early hours of April 9, 2009. She was predeceased by husband William, parents Walter and Violet Kilby, brother Glenn, sisters Audrey and Doreen, stepdaughter Valerie and stepgrandson Chad. She is survived by son Bill (Lisa), children Bill Jr, Geena, Nicole, Heather daughter Pamela (David) children Rachael, Samantha and youngest son Douglas. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. "GRANDMA" spent her retirement years helping raise her granddaughters Rachael and Samantha while their parents worked and she did an exemplary job. Even in failing health she was a feisty fighter until the end. She will be lovingly missed by her family and all those who knew her. No service by request. There will be a celebration of her life in the summer. Date to be determined.
