Keever Hospice Solace Center.Born in Mobile, AL, to the late Joseph K. and Mary Feeney Pinkston Elliott, he was raised in Vicksburg, MS, and was a proud graduate of the University of Mississippi. He was a Prosthetist and Orthotist and a member of The Rock Church of Asheville. Joe was a veteran having served in the U.S. Navy and a member of Black Mountain Moose Lodge #2220.Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Myra Kohne Elliott; daughters, Jody Lynn Dunning and her husband, Steve, of Asheville, and Katie Elliott Cole and her husband, Clint, of Belleair, FL; and five grandchildren, Maddie Rose, Asher and Frederick Dunning and Ellie and Lillian Cole.A celebration of Joe's life will be held Wednesday, July 16, at 11 a.m. at The Rock Church of Asheville.
