Obituary of Joseph-E. Williams

NISKAYUNA Joseph E. Williams, 85, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 23, 2004 at the Albany Memorial Hospital. Joseph was born on March 23, 1919 in St. John's New Brunswick, Canada to the late Fred and Ruphine La Blance Williams. For over 30 years, Joe worked for the Ironworkers Local 12 in Albany. He was loved by all who knew him. Joseph is survived by his life long friend and wife of 61 years, Mary A. (Caissie) Williams of Niskayuna. He is the beloved and devoted father to Darlene Orvis of Tampa, Fla., Peter Williams of Hawaii, Jackie Boni and AnneMarie Saleem, both of Latham. He is admired and adored by his five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by three brothers, Leonard, Camile and Ronald Williams. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, August 26, 2004 at the New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave.) where family will receive friends on Thursday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Interment, Memory's Garden.
