Obituary of Joseph-C. Raymond

RAYMOND - Joseph C., 94, longtime resident of Ridgewood, died August 17. Born in Hawthorne, NJ in 1909 he was one of New Jersey's finest builders. He was past president of the NJ Builders Association, an honorary member of Brick Layers Union. A realtor for 60 years, he owned J. Raymond Realty in Ridgewood. He was a long-standing member of "Cosmo Club", a member of ASCAP, owned Recall Record Company, and had produced a Broadway show. He previously served on the Board of Directors of "Lou Costello Tent." He leaves his beloved wife Hilda, four children: Craig Raymond, George Stevens, Sam Raymond, and Mary Anne Raymond. Also survived by thirteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by two sisters, Antoinette Saricelli and Angelina Ciarsello. Funeral mass will be held Thursday at 10:45 AM at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Ridgewood.
