Obituary of Jose-Manuel Gonzalez

JOSE MANUEL GONZALEZ HAMMOND, IN Jose Manuel Gonzalez, age 65, of Hammond, IN, passed away Thursday, July 15, 2010. He is survived by one son, Ricardo Gonzalez of Gary, IN; two brothers: Geraldo S. and Juan Gonzalez; three sisters: Maria Romero, Paula Gonzalez and Maria S. (Victor) Gonzalez; and numerous nieces and nephews. Jose was preceded in death by parents: Francisco and Carmen (Jurado) Gonzalez; son, Jose M. Gonzalez Jr.; brothers: Cirilo, Francisco Alberto, Antonio and Jose Ramon Gonzalez; and sisters: Lucia Gonzalez and Carmen D. Irizarry. Funeral services will be held Monday, July 19, 2010 at 5:00 PM at Geisen Funeral Home, 7905 Broadway, Merrillville, with Rev. Frank D. Torres officiating. Friends may visit with the family Monday, July 19 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will take place Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Calumet Park Cemetery, Merrillville. Jose was employed by the City of East Chicago for 22 years.
