Obituary of Johnny Edwards

EDWARDS, Johnny "Pop" Age 66 of Mt. Juliet, passed away August 18, 2010. He was retired from UPS and a veteran of the US Navy. Preceded in death by parents, H. P. Edwards & Carlene Harris; brother, Horace Edwards; and sister, Geneva Victory. Survived by wife of 48 years, Shirley Edwards; sons, John, Shannon & Bill Edwards; grandchildren, Lauren & Blake Edwards; sister, Margie (Sonny) Connelly; brothers, Pat (Linda) Edwards and Jerry (Edith) Edwards; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Saturday, August 21st at 11 a.m., at Sellars at Mt. Juliet, with Buster and Mike Mayberry officiating. Interment will be at 1 p.m., at Woodlawn Cemetery in Nashville, with nephews serving as Pallbearers.
