Obituary of John-Wilder Dews

DEWS, John Wilder Devoted husband, son, and brother passed on to God's hand on Aug. 17th, 2009 with his family at his side. John was born on Oct. 9th, 1966 in Warner Robins, GA. He moved to Clearwater in August 1985. He graduated from USF with a BSBA in finance and a MBA from Tampa University in 1995. He enjoyed golf, boating and politics. He was politically active and served as President of the Pinellas Young Republican and was a member of the Pinellas Republican Executive Committed. He is survived by his wife Michelle Donna Dews; and his parents, John and Sharon Dews of Clearwater; his sister Denise' Gaile Dews; and nephew John David Dews of Chapel Hill, NC. He also leaves behind his in-laws, Samaroo and Girly Sookraj of Trinidad and Tobago; his three sisters-in-law; five brothers-in-law; and eight nieces and nephews. His family will receive friends at Episcopal Church of the Holy Spirit at 601 Philippi Parkway, Safety Harbor at 6pm on Tuesday Aug. 25th for his memorial service.
