NEAL, John R. Peacefully after a lengthy illness at Perth & Smiths Falls District Hospital, (Perth Site) on Tuesday January 3, 2006. John Neal of Westport, in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of Jan Thornborrow. Dear father of Nancy and her husband Barry Card of Westport, John and his wife Carol of Oakland, Tom and his wife Donna of Newmarket. Dear brother of Mabel of Brantford. Predeceased by brothers, Charles and George Neal. Also survived by sister-in-law Donaline Neal of Mount Pleasant. Fondly remembered by grandchildren: Christina and Jeremy (Karrie), Rebecca and Johnny, Taylor and Spencer as well as great grandchildren; Westley and Nia-Bella. Funeral Service will be held in Knox Presbyterian Church, Westport on Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Mount Pleasant, Ontario on Saturday afternoon at 1 o'clock. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations made to the Westport Lions Club Handicapped Van Fund, Westport Firefighters Association or Knox Presbyterian Church, Westport would be appreciated by the family.
