Obituary of John-Michael Fields

FIELDS, John Michael (Mike) April 26, 1951 - March 23, 2010 Mike passed away suddenly in his home in the Okanagan of a cardiac attack. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Dalcy Karen Fields (nee Friesen), his children Sean, Katrina, Sarah, Jordan and Corry. Survived by his mother Betty Penn Millins; siblings Daphne, Daryl and Leslie; nephew Ives Clark and nieces, Alana Meikle, Makayla and Samara Rittinger; Uncle Robert Fields of Victoria; godfather Gordon Campbell of Lethbridge, and good friends and relatives in Vancouver and Victoria. He is predeceased by his father Donald B. Fields and stepfather G. Dudley Darling. Michael attended University Hill Elementary and Secondary school, United World College in Whales, UK and received his BSc from UBC. Michael adamantly pursued several areas of interests; however his priority was his love and concern for his wife and children. Michael will be remembered for his loyalty, determination and hope.
