Obituary of John McCartney

AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. John McCartney, 60, entered into rest on Monday, May 2, 2011, in The Charlie Norwood VAMC. He was born June 12, 1950 in Youngstown, Ohio. He proudly served in The U.S. Army and is a Vietnam Veteran. He leaves to cherish fond loving memories with his son, Kevin McCartney; daughter, Shannon (Jeff) Lineberger; grandson, Stokes; granddaughter, Sophie; father, Richard McCartney; twin brother, Forrest (Susan) McCartney; three nephews, two nieces, and a host of friends. Memorial services will be 5:00pm, Saturday, May 7, 2011 at Windsor Springs Baptist Church, 3692 Windsor Spring Road, Hephzibah, Ga., with military honors.
