SLINGERLANDS John L. Pritchard, 52, died unexpectedly Tuesday, July 19, 2005. He was the dear husband of Christine A. (Von Dohlen) Pritchard; beloved father of Andrew, Jennifer, Kathryn and Sydney Pritchard; dear brother of Pamela A. Sager, William E. Pritchard, Charles Pritchard (Erin), Elizabeth Pritchard (John Hladky) and Daniel Pritchard (Mercedes); son-in-law of William and Annette Von Dohlen; brother-in-law of William and Colleen Von Dohlen and Joseph Von Dohlen; many nieces and nephews also survive. Born in Albany, he was the son of the late John and Patricia Cunningham Pritchard. He graduated from the former Vincentian Institute in 1971 and Siena College in 1983. John received his MBA from the Sage Colleges. Mr. Pritchard was the vice president at Sun Trust Capital Markets in Albany and previously spent 15 years as executive director for the Independent Bankers Association. He was a former town councilman in Clifton Park. Funeral services Saturday at 8:45 a.m. from the McVeigh Funeral Home, 208 North Allen Street, Albany thence to St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Delmar at 9:30 a.m. where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Relatives and friends are invited and may call Friday 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
