Obituary of John-G. Dick

John "Jack" G. Dick, 83, Sarasota, died June 23, 2005, at Doctors Hospital. He was born March 6, 1922, in Johnstown, Pa., and came to Sarasota from there in 1977. He retired as a supervisor at Bethlehem Steel Corp. and was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of the VFW, the Elks, the Masons and Rolling Green Golf Course. He was active in Mended Hearts and was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church and its choir. Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Ruth; a daughter, Nancy Fehl of Sarasota; a brother, Charles of Johnstown; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Services were Saturday at St. John's United Methodist Church. Burial was in Palms Memorial Park. Palms Funeral Home is in charge.
