Obituary of John-Bruce Adams

John Bruce Adams, 65, of 225 S. Bell St., widower of Minnie Jones Adams, died March 23, 2001, at Laurens County Hospital in Clinton. Born in Newberry County, he was a son of the late John "DOC" and Julia Rice Adams. Member: Flint Hill Baptist in Whitmire. Retired: Whitten Center. Survivors: sons, Curtis Eugene Adams of Tucson, Ariz. and Kenneth Bruce Adams of the home; daughters, Sonya A. Buskey of Columbia, Daphna Lane of Whitmire and Nicole Vance of Clinton; 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Service: 2 p.m. Tuesday at Flint Hill Baptist Church, Whitmire.
