Obituary of Joan Maguire

MAGUIRE, Joan (nee Simmons) - Peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Monday, September 12, 2011 at the age of 77 years. Beloved wife to John. Loving mother to John (Cindy), Joey (the late Peter), Linda (Paul), Rick, and Nancy. Nanny to Stephanie (Charlie), Meaghan (Matthew), Lindsay, Kate, Riley, Merissa, and Steven. Great- grandmother to Carson, Campbell, Coen, and Caiylen. Joan will be sadly missed by her dear friend Melanie and her cat Canyon. Friends will be received at Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lake Shore Blvd. W., (between Islington and Kipling Aves., at 14th St.) on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. As per Joan's wish, cremation has taken place and a private family inurnment is to take place at a later date.
