Obituary of Jeanne-Irene Martineau

->FARMINGTON -- Jeanne Irene Martineau, 74, of New Sharon, died early Sunday morning, Dec. 20, 2009, at Franklin Memorial Hospital in Farmington. She was born on Feb. 4, 1935, in New Haven, Conn., the daughter of George and Irene (Charbonneau) Duquette. She graduated from New Haven Catholic schools.On May 21, 1955, she married Eugene Martineau in New Haven. They made their home in New Sharon while Jeanne worked as an administrative assistant in local banks. She enjoyed doing various crafts and the company of her family.She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Eugene of New Sharon; and daughters, Patricia Ann McAllian and Catherine Martineau, both of New Sharon. She was predeceased by her parents.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 23, at St. Joseph's Church in Farmington with the Rev. Thomas Lequin, celebrant. Family and friends are invited to call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 22, at the Wiles Funeral Home, Cremation Service & Remembrance Center, 137 Farmington Falls Road, Farmington.
