Obituary of Jean-Francois Maclean

It is with a heavy heart that the MacLean family announces the untimely death of a mighty oak tree called Jean-Francois. He was in the prime of his life, a veritable Colossus of Rhodes. He fought bravely and valiantly to the bitter end but his many foes could not all be stilled and he finally succumbed to his many injuries on February 15, 2003 at the Civic Hospital's ICU. A very special thank you goes out to the many people in the ICU who gave our son such excellent care and also support for us. His mother Odette, his father Leonard (Len), his sister Debbie and fiance Rob along with his many relatives and friends were with him to the very end. He will be sorely missed by his many uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. Relatives and friends will be received at Heritage Funeral Home, 2871 St. Joseph Blvd., Orleans, Ontario on Monday, February 17, 2003 from 7 to 9 p.m., on Tuesday, February 18th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Wednesday, February 19th from 2 p.m. until time of service in the Heritage Chapel at 5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
