Jean F. (Thornell) Brennan 81, of Dennis Port, MA died Wednesday, June 9, 2010 in Mayflower Place, Yarmouth, MA. She was the loving wife of Francis X. Brennan. They have been married for 60 years. She was born on July 23, 1928 in Brockton, MA. She was the daughter of the late Edward and Ellen (Cadogan) Thornell. Besides being a homemaker, she worked for various automobile dealers for many years. She loved and cherished her family. Mrs. Brennan had a passion for interior designing, and enjoyed her home, and gardening. Besides her husband, she is survived by her three children, Karen M. Brennan of Dennis Port, MA, Kevin M. Brennan and wife Dianne of Weymouth, MA, Peter F. Brennan and wife Lisa of Galena, IL, three granddaughters, Jennifer Petrosevich, Julie Brennan, Chloe Brennan, and several nieces and nephews. Her visitation will be held on Friday, June 11, 2010 from 4 -7 p.m. in the Doane Beal Ames Funeral Home, 260 Main Street, West Harwich, MA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, June 12, 2010 at 10 a.m. in Holy Trinity Church, 246 Main Street (Rte. 28), West Harwich, MA. Burial will follow in the Swan Lake Annex Cemetery, Depot Street, Dennis Port, MA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Dennis Fire and Rescue, 883 Main Street, West Dennis, MA 02670 or Donate blood in her memory at a place of your choice.
