Obituary of Jean-Barbara Donaldson

DONALDSON Jean Barbara (Nichols) Donaldson, age 87, of Stratford, beloved wife of the late Richard A. Donaldson, died at Bishop Wicke Health Center in Shelton, on Tuesday, January 31, 2006. She was born November 25, 1918 in Bridgeport, to the late George and Florence Nichols. She graduated from Fairfield High School and retired from Universal Business Equipment in 1984. Before returning to Stratford, she resided in Bridgeport for many years. She is survived by three sons, Dennis and his wife, Sandy, of Simpsonville, S.C., Bradley and his wife, Karen, of Stratford, and David and his wife, Patricia, of Milford. Mrs. Donaldson leaves eight grandchildren, Lynne, Scott, Todd, Kimberly, Sarah, Kellie, Alicia and Jacqueline; eight great-grandchildren, Drew, Devon, Paige, Katie, Paul, Kyle, Joshua and Kristina. She was predeceased by a brother, Robert Nichols of Sandy Hook. In accordance with her wishes, no services will be held.
