Obituary of Jamie-Douglas Macleod


Jamie Douglas MacLeod 1973 - 2007 The death of Jamie Douglas MacLeod, 34 years, of Moncton occurred at The Moncton Hospital on Tuesday, April 10th, as the result of injuries received in a car pedestrian accident. Born in Moncton on April 3, 1973 he was the son of Paul Douthwright and Krystal Lunn. Jamie had been employed with Purolator Courier for ten years before traveling out west in late 2006. He had returned home in February of this year. In addition to his mother Krystal Lunn and his father Paul Douthwright (Debbie) he is survived by his daughter, Autumn MacLeod; his son, Myles MacLeod; his sister, Katrina Lunn (Bill); his nephew, Neil; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, John and Margaret MacLeod; his paternal grandparents, Percy and Addie Douthwright; and his grandmother, Kathleen Lunn. Jamie is resting at Cadman Bowness Funeral Home (857-1110) 114 Alma Street Moncton with visiting hours on Friday, April 13th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 14th at 2 pm in Cadman Bowness Funeral Home followed by a reception in the reception room of the funeral home. Following cremation interment will be in Mont Eagle Cemetery later in the spring. Donations in Jamie's memory made to the memorial of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
