Obituary of James-William-Stanley Cleary

CLEARY, James William Stanley - Passed away peacefully with grace and dignity on Monday, August 18, 2014. Sadly missed by his wife Diane, his children Joanne (Bob), Jim and Kathleen (Rob), by his grandchildren Alex, Madison, Ian, Meghan, Kyle and Caitlin. Predeceased by his brother John James and sister-in-law Audrey Cleary, along with many family and friends. Born March 31, 1931 in Toronto. Had a long and successful career at BA/Gulf Oil Canada for 36 years. Long retired, Jim enjoyed time with his 6 grandchildren and cheering on his beloved Toronto Argonauts. Fondly remembered for his sense of humour, quick mind and loyal commitment to family and friends. Never to be forgotten by those who knew him. Visitation will be held at the McEACHNIE FUNERAL HOME, 28 Old Kingston Rd., Ajax (905-428-8488), on Wednesday, August 20th from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of the Funeral Home on Thursday, August 21st at 11:00 a.m. Jim will be laid to rest in Pine Ridge Memorial Gardens, Ajax.
