Obituary of James Wallace

DAVENPORT -- Mr. James L. Wallace of Davenport died of non-Hodgkins lymphoma Wednesday (Jan. 26, 2005) in Davenport. He was 59.Born in Colorado Springs, Colo., on Aug. 25, 1945, Mr. Wallace came to Davenport from Lapel, Ind., four years ago. He was a tank floor superintendent for O-I Brockway Glass for 35 years in Lapel, Ind. He served in the Navy during the Vietnam War and was a member of the American Legion No. 212 in Lapel. He attended Community of Faith United Methodist Church in Davenport and St. Mark Episcopal Church in Haines City.Mr. Wallace is survived by his wife, Theresa Johnpierre Wallace; son, Mike Wallace, Pendleton, Ind.; daughter, Dodi Sylvester, Orange City; brother, Bill Wallace, Davenport; two grandchildren. Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, 1001 Grace Ave., Haines City.
