Obituary of James-W. O-Donnell

James W. "Bill" O'Donnell, born May 10, 1925 in Richmond, Va., died at home in Plympton Dec. 10, 2011. Beloved husband of Arlene O'Donnell, he was the loving father to Janie O'Donnell of Lakeville, Peter O'Donnell and his wife Dawne of Florida and Jamie Pino and her husband Bob of Bridgewater. Bill was also the cherished grandfather of five grandchildren. Bill had owned County Auto Mart after a work life of welding, and fabrication. He held several US Patents for a meat rail system he developed. Bill served in the U.S. Navy in the Pacific during World War II as a radio operator, and the Army transport service. A graveside service will be held Saturday, Dec. 17, at 11:30 a.m. at the Hillcrest Cemetery in Plympton.
