Obituary of James-Stewart Gardiner

GARDINER, James Stewart (Stew) - (L.D.C.R., R.C.N.V.R., W.W.II Veteran) - With deep sadness the family announces the passing of their beloved father on April 2, 2005 in his 87th year. Loving husband of the late Eleanor (2001). Beloved father of Ann Little (George), Bob Gardiner (Deborah) and Mary Jane Cosgrove (David). Dear grandpa of Leslie, Richard, Michelle, James, Mark and Ian and great grandfather of Halen. Brother of Phyllis Bishop and Joan Sullivan. Predeceased by sisters Marg MacPherson and Adele Dugan. Stew was retired as Manager from Fitzgerald Fuels and as Section Manager from Canadian General Electric, Past President of United Services Institute and Past President of the Friends of the Trent. He will be missed by his many nieces, nephews, family and friends. At his request cremation and private family interment has taken place.
