James C. Snyder NEW EGYPT James C. Snyder, 54, of New Egypt passed away at home on Sunday with his loving companion Karen by his side. Born in Trenton, James traveled throughout the United States, settling in California and then Oregon for over 15 years. Jim or Jimmy, as he was affectionately known by his family, worked for many years as a foreman with the International Tile Union Local 19. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing and hunting. Jim loved life and will greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Son of the late Thomas and Catherine Yake Snyder, brother of the late Thomas Snyder III, stepbrother of the late Thomas Morris, he is survived by his longtime companion of 20 years, with whom he resided, Karen DeSapio; his two children, James and Amy; his siblings, John Snyder, Daniel Snyder and his wife, Cheryl, Mark Snyder, and Joann Hoover and her husband, Bill; his stepfather, Frank Morris Sr., and two stepbrothers, Frank Morris Jr. and Edward Morris; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family members. Relatives and friends may call on Thursday evening from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Buklad Memorial Home, 2141 South Broad Street in Hamilton. A brief prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m. with local clergy officiating. Cremation will be private and at the convenience of the family.
