FLOOD, James J., 86, of Colorado Springs, Colo., passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2005, at Life Care Center in New Port Richey. Born in Kenosha, Wis., he came to this area from Detroit, Mich., 27 years ago. Mr. Flood worked for the city of Detroit as an accountant, and was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army. He belonged to the American Legion and Barber Shop Quartet. James was an avid golfer and a diehard Buccaneers fan. Survivors include three sons, James Flood Jr. of Colorado Springs, Colo., Bill Yocum of Lake City, Tenn., and Steve Cline of Kingsport, Tenn.; one daughter, Patricia Row of Oakridge, Tenn.; one brother, George of Phoenix; five grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. Services will take place at 11 a.m. May 19, 2005, at Prevatt Funeral Home with Fr. Tomy John officiating. Prevatt Funeral Home in Hudson is in charge of arrangements.
