Obituary of James-E. Morrell

-><!-- DisplayFullObituaryText -->Morrell, James E.James E. Morrell, 72, of Montour Falls, passed away on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Elmira on October 27, 1942, the son of the late Romaine and Elizabeth Morrell and attended Newfield Central School. Jim worked at Shepard Niles, Cotton-Hanlon, St. Joseph's Hospital, Ithaca College and Heritage Builders. He was a volunteer at the Cayuta Food Pantry. He enjoyed scrapbooking, hunting, fishing, and spelunking. He was predeceased by a daughter, Carol; grandson, Christopher; granddaughter, Mariah Morrell; brother, Jack Morrell; and cousin, Myrtle VanZile. He is survived by his fianc&#233;e, Jenny Barrows; his children, Michael, Grant, and James Morrell and Kimberly Kinner; a brother, Bruce (Mickie) Morrell; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Friday, January 30, 2015 from 5-7 p.m. at Vedder and Scott Funeral Home, 122 N. Genesee St., Montour Falls where there will be a time for sharing memories of Jim.
