DENISON, James Wesley (Wes) 1952-2007 Wes Denison, of Edmonton, Alberta, departed this world on January 17, 2007. He will be lovingly remembered by his companion of recent years Donna Cardinal, daughters Caroline (and Tom) Clark, Linette Denison and Brenda (and Andrew) Bailey, grandsons Jack Bailey and Aiden Denison-Patry, parents Robert and Eileen Denison of Calgary, brother Robert (and Wendy) and sister Susan (and Dwight) Brady, wife Sharon, aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, as well as many friends whose lives were touched by his special spirit.Wes will be remembered as an avid reader, a biking enthusiast and keen chess player. His abiding interests in sports, electronics, music and reading formed the basis for the contributions he made to wellness in the world as a martial artist, artist, community builder, life-long learner, and as a father, son, brother and loving friend. A Service to remember and celebrate Wes' life will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Strathcona Baptist Church, 8318 - 104 Street, Edmonton, Alberta. Donations in memory of Wes can be made to the CKUA Radio Foundation, the beneficiary of a decade of dedicated volunteering by Wes; or to the Cross Cancer Institute or a cancer charity of your choice.
