Obituary of James-C. Preston

PRESTON, JAMES C. Ocala - James C. Preston, 78, died on Thursday, December 16, 2010 at Tuscany Hospice House. James was born in Washington, DC on November 4, 1932 to parents, Richard O. and Marion (Avery) Preston. He was a US Navy veteran and served during the Korean Conflict. He later became a police officer and retired from Miami Beach Police Dept as a Detective with 25 years of service. He moved to Ocala in 1996 where he enjoyed his retirement. He is survived by his daughter, Valerie Preston of Ocala; son, Brian Preston of Ft Lauderdale; and two grandsons, Nicholas and Michael Preston.
