Obituary of James-A. Whitlock

James Arthur Whitlock, 79, of 316 Youth Center Road, died Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2001. Born in Jefferson, Ga., he was a son of the late Jake and Lillie Covington Whitlock. Survivors: Wife, Doris B. Whitlock; daughters, Sandra Ledbetter of Greenville, Vivian Robinson and Pat O'Rourke, both of Rock Hill; brothers, Austin H. Whitlock of Chickamauga, Ga., and Ernest Whitlock of Commerce, Ga.; and eight grandchildren. Visitation: 1:30 to 3 p.m. Friday at Cox Funeral Home, with the service at 3 p.m. Burial: Cedar Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
