Obituary of Joseph Spalding

Joseph Spalding - Rockledge - Joseph Kenneth Spalding, 76, passed away at home Friday, March 19, 2010. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Loretta; five children, Rose (Rob) Oudejans, Geri (Mike) Shaw, Tom (Renee) Spalding, Mark (Karen) Spalding, Tina (David) Richter; and 11 grandchildren, Kyle, Lyndsey, Joey, Joy, Jake Annika, Nicki, William, Asa, Piet and Saskia. He is also survived by his two sisters, Lois Wilson and Irene Cowles of Kentucky. He served in the US Navy for four years. Returning home he worked for RCA tracking missiles. Later on he established and managed Spalding Reality Inc. for many years. He will best be remembered for his sense of humor, a strong work ethic and his devotion to family. Services will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church on Wednesday, March 24th at 10:00 a.m. Followed by a Celebration of Life in the Parrish Hall. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Marys Catholic School.
