Obituary of John-Thomas Salter

SALTER, John Thomas, age 87, a resident of Greenville, Alabama, died Thursday, March 7, 2002. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 9, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. in the Central Baptist Church with the Reverend William Leverette officiating. Interment will follow in the Central Baptist Cemetery with Harrison Funeral Home of Greenville directing. Visitation will be held Friday, March 8, 2002 from 6:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Harrison Funeral Home. Survivors include: Wife, Jewell Salter, Greenville, AL; Daughter, Lula Ann Salter, Raleigh, NC; Son, Alton Ray Salter, Montgomery, AL; Two sisters: Margaret Laubenstein, Philadelphia, PA and Virginia Lasswell, Littleton, CO; Brother, Chester Salter, Greenville, AL; Granddaughter, Mary Harmon Salter, Miami, FL; Grandson, Gavin Marcus Hall, Atlanta, GA.
