Obituary of John-Albert Dell

JOHN ALBERT DELL August 6, 1928 - June 24, 2014 John Albert Dell of Scarborough, Ontario, in his 86th year, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 24, 2014 after a brief illness. John is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Joan (née Howie), children Sherry, Michael (Marilyn), Laurel Moore (David) and Matthew (Athena), grandchildren Matthea den Boer (Mathew), Adam, Ryan, Jeffrey, Julia and Jack and great- granddaughter Holland. Loving brother of Mildred DeBlieck of Camrose, AB. Predeceased by sisters Dorothy and Shirley. He will also be remembered by his brothers-in-law, sisters- in-law and many nieces and nephews, friends and neighbours. John was a loyal employee of Bell Canada for 43 years and a member of Bell Pioneers. A proud survivor of prostate cancer, John was an active member of the PCCN Toronto Man to Man Peer Support Group. His smile and great stories will be sadly missed. Thanks to staff at Scarborough General Hospital for their care and compassion.
