Obituary of Isabel Allen

ALLEN, Isabel Rosetta Peacefully at home on Thursday, May 7, 2009. Isabel Allen, beloved wife of the late Roy Allen. Loving mother of Brenda (Roy South), Nancy Jane (the late Jim Jeffrey) and William. Predeceased by her son Reverend Frederick Allen and her daughter Mary Elizabeth Allen. Dear grandmother of Michael (Sue), Andrew (Carole), John (Laura), Simon and Harriet, and great-grandmother of Zachary and Benjamin. She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law Clifford and Pat Allen. Predeceased by brothers James, William and Walter (Donna), her brother-in-law Garnet and her sisters-in-law Hilda, Ruth, June and Peggy. Special thanks to the team at Home Instead Senior Care, and Saada and Myra for their loving care of Isabel. Friends may call at All Saints Anglican Church, 347 Richmond Road, Ottawa on Wednesday, May 13, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Additional parking will be available at Tubman Funeral Homes, 403 Richmond Road. Funeral service will be held at St. Barnabas Anglican Church, 70 James Street (at Kent) on Thursday at 10a.m. Interment at Capital Memorial Gardens.
